In 2020, he was appointed a member of the Management Board of Bank 'BTB' OJSC.
Since 2023, he has been performing the duties of the 1st Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Acting Chairman of the Management board of "Bank BTB" OJSC.

In 1999-2005, graduated with honors from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with bachelor's and master's degrees.
In 2015-2017, studied at the Maastricht School of Management of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Business Management program of ADA University and received Executive MBA and master's degrees.
He started working at the National Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2004 and worked in various management positions in 2011-2018.
He worked at the International Bank of Azerbaijan in 2018-2020.
In 2020-2023, he worked as an Executive Director in the company "Penki Kontinentai Group" in the Republic of Lithuania.
Since 2023, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Member of the Management Board of Bank "BTB" OJSC.
Nihad Abbasov Oqtay

2008-2012- graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
2014- started career at Bank ‘BTB’ OJSC.
In 2018, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Problem Loans Department, and in 2020, he assumed the role of Director of the Problem Loans Department of Bank ‘BTB’ OJSC.
On April 25, 2023 appointed as the Director of the Asset Management Department of Bank ‘BTB’ OJSC.
Since February 26, 2023 he has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and the Member of the Management Board of Bank ’BTB’ OJSC.
